Helen Allen Phillips, 88, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on July 26, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Paul Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Durward Allen and second husband James Lomax Phillips; sisters, Margaret Hickman Abbott, Mary Alice Johnson; brother, William Robert Hickman; and nephew, Jerry Lee Oswald. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Allen; sisters, Joan Oswald, Norma Jean McNair ; niece, Marilyn Hatfield; nephew, Michael S. McNair; great nieces and nephews, Candace and Luke Hatfield, Leigh Anna Newell, Gabriel Oswald; and great great nieces and nephews, Lillie and Rachel Newell, and Hunter and Zachary Oswald.
