James Milton Glenn, 92, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was born in Verbena, AL to the late Ronie Glenn and Mollie Belle Murphy Glenn and moved to Montgomery in the 1960’s. He was an Elder for 30 years with the Redland Road Church of Christ, formerly known as Highland Gardens Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Olene Glenn; sons, David Glenn and wife Liz, Michael Glenn and wife Linda; daughters, Marilyn Greer and husband Don, Deborah Kicker and husband Tery; eight grandchildren, Becky Glenn, Jon David Glenn, Mary Greer, Caleb Greer, Heidi Glenn, Abbey Haisten, Ethan Kicker and Matthew Kicker; twelve great grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family request, in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made to Mexico Missions through Redland Road Church of Christ.
