

Wren, James, age 81, of Orange Beach, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 4th, 2011. What a fitting day for him! James was a retired USAF, Chief Master Sergeant; he loved his family, his country and University of Alabama Football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and James Wren; his loving wife of 46 years, Sarah Shoemaker Wren; a second wife, Polly Wren.
Survivors include his children, Gregory D. Wren (Susan) of Montgomery, AL, Sally A Wren of Montgomery, AL and Brenda L McAfee (Jim) of San Antonio, TX; Six Grandchildren, Rachael Lindmark (Peter) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Christa Wren of Montgomery, AL, Catherine Roberts (Dustin) of Montgomery, AL, Cristi Cain (John) of Montgomery, AL, Kara Weinstein and Aaron Weinstein, Austin, TX; Three Great Grandchildren, Benjamin Lindmark, Emsley Roberts and Hardy Cain. He is also survived by Sister-In-Law, Betty Wren of Houston, TX and a Nephew, Bill Wren (Judi) of South Carolina; and many more family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation is scheduled 9:00-11:00am prior to the service.
