Janice Vick Salter passed on April 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Born May 15, 1947, in Alabama, she was a resident of Pike Road, Alabama. An active member of Eastmont Baptist Church, she enjoyed preparing and serving Wednesday night meals. Janice also enjoyed spending time with her daughters and granddaughters.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Dorothy Vick. However, she is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Mike Salter; daughters, Stephanie Wray and Amy Williams; granddaughters, Erin Lockhart and Riley Williams; brother, Errol Vick (Shirley); sisters, Dolores Sharp (Robert) and Cindy Vick; as well as nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that all attending the service wear spring colors to match her outlook on life.
A visitation will be held at Eastmont Baptist Church, 4505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, on April 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am.
