Jerry Luther Williamson

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kendrick and Lucile Williamson and sister, Evelyn W. Ivey.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara “George” Williamson; children, Tammy Maddox (Jason), Cindy Watt, Kevin Williamson (Kim), Dana Persons (Gordon), Tracie Mickler (Warren), Heather Marshall (Thomas); sisters, Mary Reynolds and Libby Hester; brother, Walter Williamson(Linda); grandchildren, Brandon Taff, Jordan Maddox, Anna Marie Maddox, Stratton Watt, Chapman Watt, Erin Wysmulek (Nick), Kaylie Williamson, Ashlyn “Fred” Persons, Viktor Marshall, Aleksander Marshall; great grandson, Eli Maddox; several nieces and nephews and his 3 faithful companions, “His Boys”, Biscuit, Bandit and Sir Buddy.

He was a dedicated, successful and well respected local business owner of Williamson Industries for 36 years.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm, at Leak Memory Chapel, with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Taff, Stratton Watt, Chapman Watt, Johnny Davis, Ronnie “Doc” Elijah, Ronnie “Catfish” Waters and Charlie Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Adams, Bill Klinner, Philip Head and Ed Thrash.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dementia Research Foundation and/ or The Montgomery Humane Society.

The family would like to send special thanks to employees of Kindred Hospice and special caretakers of Answered Prayer.
