Mr. John Anthoney Weyna, 67, who resided in Montgomery, Alabama went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents; John Andrew Weyna and Emma Jean Strankman. He is survived by his lovely wife; Colita M. Weyna, children; Angel Weyna Wheatley (Michael), sisters; Jo-Ann Hoppins (Dennis), Janice Weyna and Juli Dougherty (Fred), and a brother; James Strankman (Kelle), two grandchildren; Ace Wheatley and Ava Wheatley. Mr. Weyna loved Auburn football, fishing, dogs, family, NASCAR and country music. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow immediately at Oakwood- St.Margaret's Cemetery with full military honors. Rev. Winston Brooks will be officiating.
