Johna Faulkner Reese

REESE, Johna Faulkner, 57, a resident of Montgomery, died on July 4, 2024 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her father, John H. Faulkner. She is survived by husband of 33 years, Owen Nelson Reese II; her sons, Owen Nelson Reese III and Austin John Reese; her granddaughter, Scout E. Ranson-Reese; her mother, Katie B. Faulkner; and her brother, Greg W. Faulkner.

Johna was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 14, 1966. She graduated high school from Central of Phenix City High School and received an Interior Design degree from Auburn University and an Accounting degree from Troy State University in Montgomery. She was a member of St. James Methodist Church.

Johna was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, and friend. Always the life of the party who loved fellowship and laughter, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 with visitation at 10:00. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Faulkner, Kyle Wood, John Brant Hill, Brant Hill, Bill Stoudenmire, and Wade Stoudenmire.
