Joyce (Compton) Taylor

Joyce was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Joyce is survived by her son Mickey Compton (Debbie); her son Lester Compton (Cathy); her daughter Brenda Hall (Wayne); her daughter Linda Richardson (Keith); and her daughter Teresa Bates; as well as 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Franklin Compton, and husband Edward (Ed) Earl Taylor; her sister Leona Ubanks; her sister Irene Sweat; her brother Marvin Mashburn and her sister Juanita Lackey.

A celebration of life for Joyce will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Bro. Ron Beckham will be officiating the service with a visitation beginning at 1:00.
