

Leonard served his country during the Korean War as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army. He earned a medal for good conduct during his service.
He was a member of a CB radio club and enjoyed fishing, playing casino games, and watching black and white movies and TV shows.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Frances Ruth Batey Conway; his parents, William Jackson and Siller Nichols Conway; his son, Thomas Lynn Conway; his daughter, Launa Marie Conway Hayes (Grover Lee); as well as 4 sisters, 6 brothers, and his twin brother.
He is survived by his children, Vivian Conway Hooper (Stephen) and William Lee Conway (Shelia); 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A friends and family visitation for Leonard will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
