Leonard (Lynn) Wooley, passed away peacefully at the age of 80, surrounded by lifelong friends on 29 April 2026. Lynn was born on 21 Jun 1945 at Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff Arkansas. He was the son of the late James L. Wooley and Dot Lawrence Wooley. Lynn was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff Arkansas. As a young adult, Lynn moved to Montgomery AL and began a long and successful career, and owner, of Lynn’s Coiffure Designs in Cloverdale. Lynn soon built a fiercely loyal following and most of Lynn’s clients stayed with him for decades, and many became close friends.

He is survived by his niece, Carrie Flick, and his nephews, Jerry Wooley and Allen Wooley. In addition to his parents, Lynn was predeceased by his brother, James Wooley, and his sister, Dorothy Wooley Flanagan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1 to 1:45pm at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by the memorial service at 2pm. The service will be officiated by Rev Dr Pamela Hosey Long.
