

Born in Cookeville, Tennessee, Les lived in Highland Home, Alabama and moved to Montgomery, Alabama in sixth grade. He graduated from Landmark Christian School and had several careers throughout his life. Les worked at Draper Correctional Facility as a Correctional Officer and then spent over 30 years as a truck driver.
Les was preceded in death by his parents, Harold “Buddy” Means and Wanda Sue Scrushy; and step-father, William “Bill” Scrushy.
Les leaves behind his beloved wife, Wanda Means; sons, Thomas Means (Amber), Donald Means, and Ken Means. He loved his grandchildren, Madison Means, Brianna Means, Colton Scrushy, Aubrie-Ann Means and John Thomas Means. He also leaves behind a very special cousin, Kay Roberts as well as cousins, Sharon Peek (Thomas), Denna Littrle, Nanette Storie, and Barry Bates.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 2:00pm with visitation one hour prior at New Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2764 New Ebenezer Rd., Lapine, AL 36046, in Highland Home, Alabama.
