

Linda H. Faulk, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, left us peacefully on May 4, 2025. Linda, age 77, was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her, embodying love, faith, & a delightful feistiness that made her truly one of a kind.
Linda was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Ivey and Mildred Hall, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her beloved sister, Janice LeBeache.
Linda was a proud “Poet” of Sidney Lanier High School, class of 1967. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas C. Faulk, embarking on a 60-year journey filled with cherished memories and unwavering companionship. Together, they raised a wonderful family, including their son Vince Faulk (Vicki) and daughter Tonya Spencer (Joel). Linda dedicated her life to her family and her unwavering faith in God.
Known affectionately as “Nana”, Linda’s love and kindness left a lasting impact on her many grandchildren (9) and great-grandchildren (5): Payton Spencer, Garrett Spencer, Grant Spencer, Jack Spencer, Amber Faulk, Anna Adams (Jackson), Justin Faulk (Morgan), Allie Burns (Ryan), Bailey Little, Kasen Taylor, Brysen Taylor, Skylen Woods, Violet Adams, and Margot Burns.
Linda worked for the State of Alabama for 30 years before retiring in 2010. Following her retirement, she discovered a calling to help take care of senior citizens. She worked for Angels of the Elderly and as an independent caregiver for those in need.
An active member of Heritage Baptist Church, Linda found great joy in her faith community. She spent some time singing in the choir and helped make coffee for the church on Sunday mornings. Linda also loved spending time with the ladies from her Sunday school class, forming friendships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her.
Linda was not only a devoted family matriarch, but also a talented painter and gardener. Her artistic spirit was reflected in all of her paintings, which brought joy to her home and the hearts of those who admired them. Linda was an excellent gardener and took pride in her yard work. Her green thumb turned her home into a vibrant sanctuary filled with beautiful flowers, shrubbery, and trees.
Linda was an avid fan of the Crimson Tide. She loved going to Bryant-Denny Stadium and cheering for the University of Alabama. She also had a deep love for animals, especially stray cats and dogs, often taking them in and adopting them.
Travel was one of Linda’s greatest joys, together with Tony, they explored the beauty of Europe and enjoyed several cruises, creating cherished memories along the way. As long-time members
of the Gold Wing Road Riders of America, they journeyed throughout the southeastern United States, forming lasting friendships and experiencing the open road together.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on May 10, 2025, at Leak Memory Chapel, where family and friends are invited to share their cherished memories. Visitation will be at 1pm, followed by the Chapel Service at 2pm. Burial will occur at Greenwood cemetery.
Linda will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, faith, family, creativity, and her spirited nature will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
