Linda Tucker Westbrook of Montgomery, Alabama left this world and entered heaven on September 27, 2020. Born in Davenport, Iowa, Linda was the daughter of D.C. Tucker and Jeanette Adams Tucker. She is survived by her husband William Z. Westbrook; her children Jason Westbrook (Melissa) and Lauren Westbrook; her sister Sheila Sheehan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Caitlyn and Zac Westbrook, and numerous aunts, cousins and other family. She was preceded in death by her father D.C. Tucker and her mother Jeanette Adams Tucker, and her brother Danny Tucker. She met her husband of 53 years while attending Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama, where she was a majorette and oboe player. After a long career as a dental hygienist, she retired and continued her second career of service to others where she volunteered as a children’s Sunday School teacher, a children’s choir leader and serving the Senior adults through phone calls, cards and visits. When she was not at church volunteering in some capacity, she could be found at a ballpark supporting her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed gardening, serving others, Walt Disney World and watching Hallmark Christmas movies all year long. Her infectious personality allowed her to never meet a stranger and within minutes she was your best friend.
