

Louise H. Turner, 84, a resident of Montgomery, passed away at her residence Friday, June 13, 2014. Mrs. Turner was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She also was a long time member of Forest Park Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and participated in the choir. After retiring from the state she volunteered with the Baptist South Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, June 16, 2014. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 3 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 with Dr. Rick Marshall and Rev. Art Long officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her son, Lt. Larry F. Turner, USMC, brother, J.T. Hussey and sister Gertrude Fuller(Robert). She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Alvin F. Turner; brother, Marvin Hussey (Nina); five children, Linda T. Burrell, Mark A. Turner, Martha T. Sellers (Gilbert), Alan T. Turner (Dara); ten grandchildren, Wendy Dewberry(Kevin), Molly Young (Jarrod), Ben Burrell, Amanda Maynard (Brannon), Dalton Turner, Christy Moore (Stone), Sam Sellers, Sarah Sellers, Jake Turner, Katelyn Turner, and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Lauryn Elizabeth Dewberry.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Samuel Sellers, Ben Burrell, Jake Turner, Dalton Turner and grandsons-in-law Kevin Dewberry, Branson Maynard, Stone Moore, Jarrod Young.
