LuAnne Brackeen

LuAnne Brackeen, 53, of Montgomery passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012. A life long resident of Ada, Alabama, LuAnne enjoyed photography and spent many years as a trainer to those who took class pictures. LuAnne was a member of First Christian Church and very active in their food ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sterling “Wayne” and Elsie “Lou” Brackeen. Survivors include her brother Gary Wayne Brackeen; special aunt, uncle and cousin: Janice , Jerry and Rick Brackeen; cousin: Gina (Kenneth) Niesman; nieces and nephews in Texas; special cousin Ann Brackeen; her faithful companion Baby Girl and a plethora of friends. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Friday, Nov. 16, at First Christian Church, 1705 Taylor Rd., Montgomery, AL 36117 with Dr. Susan Diamond officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to First Christian Church. A special thanks is given to Comfort Care Hospice.
