Mack Howard Meharg

Mack Howard Meharg, age 91, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on January 18, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Mildred Meharg; his sister, Clarice Hudson; his brother, Harold Meharg; and his sister-in-law, June Bush; and his brother-in-law, Jackie Garnett. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Barbara Garnett Meharg; his son, Randy Meharg (Linda); his sisters, Jean Horton (Bob) and Frances Trombley (Don); his sister-in-law, Gayle Garnett; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Meharg, Mills Meharg, Mary Hasser (Timmy), and Natalie Sullivan; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Ables, Copley, Sully and Oliver Hasser.

Mack attended Eastern Hills Baptist Church and was a Mason. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, work and taking care of animals. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, on January 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, on January 22, 2026, starting at 12:00 pm.
