

Ashcraft Mahlon Joseph (Mick) passed away on Monday October 21,2024. Mick was born on July 26, 1936, but did not get registered until July 27 ,1936, to James and Beatrice Ashcraft. He was born in Wyoming but raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He joined the Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Mick established many businesses in his life, Mick's Tavern, AAA and Associates inc. DBA Ashcraft Landscape Company DBA Capital City R.V. park, and AW Shucks LLC., all of which have been very successful. Mick was an avid Auburn fan, to which he and his wife followed and traveled every weekend for 45 years.
Mick is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise Ashcraft, his brother Danny Ashcraft and his sister Mary Ann Ellis. He is survived by his children Cathy Ashcraft Young, Cindy Ashcraft, and Mike Ashcraft (Tracy). Grandchildren Heather Ashcraft Colquitt (Austin), Kyle and Cole Ashcraft and Paula young. Great Grand Child Jamison Colquitt. Siblings Mark Stark (Kay), Betty Kay Becker (Kevin) and George Stark (Laurie). Also, Brother and Sister-in-Law Ray and Eleanor Haner. Along with many Nieces and Nephews. Mick was also Blessed with many Friends.
A memorial service will be held at White Chapel on Monday October 28,2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rick Pate and Robin Swatlson officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11 :00 a.m. Active Pallbearers will be Kyle
and Cole Ashcraft, Chris Dawkins, Nick Gettys, Robert Naiquin, and Lloyd Nix. ln lieu of flowers,
please make donations to the Humane shelter or one's favorite charity.
