Marion Wilson Armstrong

Marion W. Armstrong born February 24, 1933, age 89, passed away peacefully at home with family nearby the evening of Saturday December 17th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Armstrong and his wife Ann W. Armstrong. He is survived by his sister Carol Oswalt and his children Daniel Armstrong, Kathryn Fletcher, James Armstrong; five grandchildren Alan Armstrong, Ian Armstrong, Nickolas Frith, Nathan Fletcher, Naomi Fletcher, and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Marion grew up in a close-knit family on a small parcel of farmland in the Chisholm area of Montgomery. As a very young man joined the Navy to serve in the Korean War. Not long after his return home from service he met the love of his life Ann Williams. They were married over 40 years until her passing. He will surely be missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.

The family will have visitation December 27th at Leak Memory Chapel from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and have a graveside service afterwards approximately 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery Hwy 331.
