Dr. Mark Churchwell

Dr. Mark Churchwell, 60, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, AL and loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 4:00PM at Vaughn Park Church of Christ with Minister Brad Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00PM – 4:00PM at the church. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Churchwell; and brother, Bobby Churchwell. He is survived his loving wife Donna; sons, Colt Churchwell and West Churchwell; daughter, Julianna Churchwell; brothers, Jimmy Churchwell (Mitzi), Danny Churchwell (Linda); sisters, Susan Churchwell and Dottie Jordan (Michael); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was a Professor at Faulkner University and owned Furlongs Engraving. He was a Gentleman Farmer and a musician. Mark touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
