Mary G. Motley, 90, of Montgomery, AL, died on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home, with a chapel service beginning at 3:00PM. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Mary was born in Samson, AL in April 1925. She moved to Montgomery in 1941 with her husband, Max Motley. Survivors include her children, Mike Motley (Jane), Sheila Motley Bridges, Rusty Motley; grandchildren, Lisa Bridges Higginbotham (David), Lori Motley Kelly (Danny), Nathan Bridges, Adam Bridges, Greg Motley; great grandchildren, Dylan Motley, Dawson Higginbotham, MacKenzie Bridges and Austin Bridges. Mary was one of the first School Patrol Women in Montgomery in the 1950’s. She sold Real Estate for several years, but for most of her years she was a homemaker. Mrs. Motley loved Lake Martin, fishing and gardening.
