Mattie Olivia Norris, 92, a longtime resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at White Chapel Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Norris was a faithful member of Dalraida Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Cornelia Zimmerman. Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband of 75 years, Clifton Norris, Sr.; son, James Larry Norris (Jeanette), daughter, Patricia N. Tew (John), son, Butch Norris (Roanne); seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
