Michael Wayne Foster

FOSTER, Michael Wayne, 42, went home on April 26, 2015. Michael was born on November 29, 1972, to Beverly W. Foster and Dan A. Foster, Jr. (Janice), he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Foster and grandparents, Jesse and Imogene Waites.

He leaves behind his wife, Chasity Walker Foster and two daughters, Walker Danyel Foster and Michaelyn Grace Foster. He is also survived by his aunt, Diane Cole (Barry) and cousins, Kim McClintock (Woody), Duane Cole (Michelle), Abby Harris (Shawn) and Austin Cochran.

Michael lived a full life of love and devotion not only to his family but to many youth and friends. An avid sports fan, he was able to shape the lives of many young children through coaching and umpiring softball. He was always his daughters’ biggest fan and greatest coach regardless of the outcome of the game. The devoted and loving son, husband, father and friend now joins his brother in blood, Danny and his brother in Christ, Mark Smith. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, at Dalraida Baptist Church.

Officiating the service will be his dear friends, Brother Rick Evans and Brother Mark Raughton in words and in music, Brother Jim Peters. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday evening at Leak Memory Chapel. Pallbearers will be Duane Cole, James Crane, Mike Davis, Ed Grimes, Michael Walden and Jamie Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Bruner, Jimmy Howard, Moses Pennic, Mike Robinson, Austin Smith, Danny Walker, and Stephen Walker.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Foster Memorial at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School.
