Ocie Love Rowe

Ocie Love Rowe, age 86 of Montgomery, AL, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. Mr. Rowe was born in Prattville, AL, and raised in Montgomery, AL. He married the love of his life on December 18, 1954. Mr. Rowe served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and he retired after 20 years of service. He was a part of the Scottish Rite Free Masonry, Capitol Lodge #923 as well as the Alabama Wondering Stars Camping Club. Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by his parents, Florance Haley Rowe, Love C. Rowe; and his sisters, Holley Rowe Simpler, and Angie Rowe Fitzgerald Jones. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Margaret Ellen Glasscock Rowe; children, Alphies Wayne (Kathy) Rowe, John Curtis Rowe; grandchildren, Dylan Christopher Rowe, Kaitlin Rowe (Edwin) Sides, Hunter Ashton Rowe; great grandchild, Carlee Sides; brothers, Drayton (Gladys) Rowe, Alphies Rowe; and other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2017, at Leak Memory Chapel with Reverend Dan Harrison officiating.
