Olivia Carol Smith

Olivia Carol Cone Smith, a resident of Eclectic, AL., passed away May 9, 2015 at the age of 70. Olivia was born in Montgomery, AL on April 5, 1945. She was a graduate of Robert E Lee High School. She was one of 8 kids and helped raise her younger siblings. On April 9, 1965, Olivia married Harold "Lamar" Smith Sr. She was a very devoted and loving wife. They had three children together. Olivia was an amazing and nurturing mother. She always had time to do whatever her children needed no matter what she was doing. She was also a special grandmother "NeeNee" to three grandsons and three granddaughters and one great granddaughter. She loved her family above all else. Olivia was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Cleveland Cone "Mike" and her mother Bertha Lois Harris Cone. She is survived by her husband, Harold Lamar Smith Sr., her sons, Lamar Smith (Jeri) and Chris Smith (Stacy), and her daughter, Carrie Womack (Rick). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tripp Smith (Lindsey), Taylor Smith (Kalee), Courtney Smith, Logan Womack, Cooper Womack, and Mackenzie Smith, and her great granddaughter, Brylee Smith. Other survivors include four sisters Mary Gallagher, Ina Brabham, Wanda Herring (Red) and Patti Woodfin (Reggie) and three brothers Gene Cone (Pat), Robert Cone (Margaret), and Jesse Cone, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at White Chapel in Montgomery on Wednesday, May 13 at 11:00 am. Funeral service will start at 1:00. Burial will be at Alabama Heritage following the service.
