April 24, 1939 - December 13, 2025
Pamela Patton, age 86, passed away from complications of surgery on December 13, 2025. She was a long-time resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Troy, Alabama and leaves behind a legacy of care, concern, and quiet devotion to those she loved.
She is survived by her only sister, Joan Powell, and was a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews: Curtis (Gail), Todd (Terri), Connie, Heather (Raymond), Carson (Dawn), Kenton (Francesca), Clarissa (Nathan), Lily (Brian), Baines (Elizabeth), Savanah, Marley, Hendrix, Halston, Perrin, and Eli, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Pamela was fastidious in her professional life, taking great pride in her work as a bookkeeper and office manager. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic earned the respect of colleague throughout her career. She was always impeccably dressed and had a sense of style that reflected her care and thoughtfulness.
Outside of work, Pamela found joy in simple, meaningful routines. She loved tending to her yard, raking leaves, and faithfully feeding the birds and neighborhood dogs and cats she watched over with affection. In retirement years, she became a devoted patron of the library, often checking out and reading as many as five books each week. Ever mindful of her surroundings, she was known for her constant attention to the weather, a small but endearing trait that those who knew her well will fondly remember.
Pamela will be remembered for her diligence, kindness, and the ways she showed love to her family, her neighborhood, and the world around her. Her presence will be deeply missed.
She will be laid to rest with her parents Denby Augustus and Florence Boardman Patton in the family plot at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
In her memory, friends and family are encouraged to make a donation to the Humane Society of Pike County, Troy, Alabama.
