Ralph Garner Beasley

Beasley, Ralph Garner, 84, a resident of Montgomery, Al, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Kline Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Mr. Beasley served in the National Guard and worked in Public Safety for 30 years, retiring as Assistant Captain at the ABI. He worked all over the state as a State Trooper, as he came up in the ranks and was Head of Auto Theft. After retiring he worked at the State Senate in Security for ten years. He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and the Kline Johnson Sunday School Class. Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Jewel Beasley and three sisters Regina Beasley, Lavina McKnight and Elsie Beasley. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Linda Holmberg Pitts Beasley, daughters Susan Beasley Pugh (Steve) and Sharon Beasley Edgar, grandchildren John Edgar, IV, Bryan Pugh and Janie Edgar and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Beasley enjoyed spending time fishing and boating at his home on Lake Martin, spending time in the country visiting with family and traveling in his motorhome. Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Leak Memory Chapel from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.
