Randall was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying mountain biking, camping, fishing, and working and helping others outdoors. Randall was able to navigate a U.S. Navy destroyer using multiple methods, including using only the stars. While in the Navy he traveled to the far reaches of the globe. After leaving the military, he traveled across the US multiple times. He always had funny stories to share and enjoyed reminiscing about past events, particularly with his father. He was loved by his family, friends, and his significant other Naomi Meadowcroft, who passed on before him. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Randy & LaDonna Golden, his sister and brother-in-law, John and Rachel Yelverton, his stepbrother Michael Sherman and stepsister, Christina Rhodes, his aunt, Karey Fowler, his cousin, Christopher Fowler, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betsy Golden, grandparents, and friends lost too early.
