SNIDER, Samuel Raymond, age 93, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Mr. Snider served during World War II and retired from the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace of 64 years. He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Thomas, Nancy (Andy) Barnes and Debra Snider; two grandsons, Sam and Bill Barnes; and two very special friends, Lyndal and Janet Graves. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend James Greene officiating. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel from 1:00 until 2:00 on Thursday. Memorials can be made to Baptist Hospice or a charity of your choice.
