

After retiring from Union Bank, Rebecca was able to enjoy her love for flowers, decorating for holidays, entertaining, traveling, and serving the Lord. She was the President of the Daylily Society and a member of the Red Hat Society in Montgomery, AL. She brought her special glitter to First Baptist Church's Living Christmas Tree as she sang every year. Also, in retirement, she and her husband Glenn were able to travel to multiple places like the Great Smoky Mountains, Hawaii, Boston, Biloxi, Hungary, Austria, and Ireland. However, their favorite trip was to the Holy Land.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Socrates and Florence Idella Terry Rawls; husband William Glenn Parker, brother and sister-in-law Henry Walton and Vallie Rawls, brother and sister-in-law George and Juanita Rawls, and brother Freeman Rawls, and nephews Ray Rawls and Brantley Woodham.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Amy Seales (Tony), Sharon Rawls, and Lee Ann Taylor (Michael); great nieces and nephews, Eric Seales, Ryan McElroy, Raven Bradley and David McGuire; great great nieces and nephews, Ethan Seales, Gage Douglas, Derek Bradley, Julie Bradley, and Randy McGuire. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Pretty Girl, Fifi.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Wetumpka Health and Rehab for their care and compassion in Rebecca's final days.
A Friends and Family Visitation will be held on October 4, 2025, at 10:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama, 36109.
A Celebration of Life Chapel Service will follow at 11:00 am at the same location, with a graveside service to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
