Ricky Dwayne Chavers, age 55, of Grady, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. Ricky Chavers was one of the best man you would ever know he loved with his whole heart and his music. His hobbies were playing guitars with his nephews, Brandon and Jeremy CHAVERS and his niece, Kimberly CHAVERS.
He loved to take his great nieces and nephews fishing and act like they were on the big Nashville stage performing for a big ole crowd dancing and singing. Most of all he loved spending all his time with his mother Minnie she was his whole world. He was one of the best truckers out there and the whole trucker world knew him as Ricashay and he loved his Daughter Kara and his grandkids with everything in him.
He was proceeded in death by his two brothers John and Timbo and survived by his mother many Minnie Burgans and his only Daughter Kara and Son-in-law Lee Gibson, and four grandchildren; a niece Kimberly Chavers, nephew, Brandon and Shannon Chavers and nephew Jeremy and Beth Chavers and 12 great nieces and nephews; sisters Annie and Mary; Brothers Doug and Eddie.
A celebration of life graveside service for Ricky will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Cemetery, Grady, AL.
