Robert Arthur Brophy was born on November 28, 1952, in Alabama. He passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 73.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held, with the date and location to be announced later.

Robert graduated from Robert E. Lee High School before attending the University of Alabama on a football scholarship.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, C.E. "Ed" and Elizabeth "Lib" Brophy, brothers, Charles and Earl Brophy, and sister, June Cook. He is survived by brother, Mike Brophy, sister, Carol Waller (Ed), and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund of Dalraida Baptist Church, located at 3838 Wares Ferry Rd, Montgomery, Alabama.
