Robert "Bob" E Compton

Robert E. "Bob" Compton, 63, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died at his home, Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Jerry Compton; survivors include his wife, Marissa Compton; his sisters, Caroline Compton Carr and Margaret Leah Compton; his step children, Cody Crowell (Bobbi) and Madison Dalrymple (Dakota); his Father-in-law, Wiley Locklar; his Sister-in-law, Deanna Mitchell (Kim); his Brother-in-law, Eric Locklar (Theresa); his nieces and nephews, Mason "Maci" Cook Reynolds (Kevin), Rebecca “Becca” Elizabeth Brooks (Hayden), Brooke Sheffield (Miles), Raven Mitchell; Nick Locklar, Maggie Locklar, Zachary Garcia, Angela Campos and Katherine Campos as well as many great-nieces, great- nephews and many friends and family.

A graveside service will be in Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109 at 2:00 pm, November 16, 2025. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Josh Carmichael is officiating.

After the service, family and friends are welcomed at 8622 Maple Ridge Lane, Montgomery, AL 36116
