Mr. Robert W. Cooper

Cooper, Robert W., age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Montgomery. Robert was born in Chilton County and served in the US Army during WWII and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a long time resident of Montgomery and was a retired car inspector with CSX Railroad. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Ola Cooper in November 2001. Survivors include his son: Robert W. Cooper II and wife Cathy of New Market, Alabama; Daughters: Dr. Kathy Trawick and husband Wayne of Little Rock, Arkansas; Ara Jo Horn and husband Cecil of Prattville; Jerry Parrish of Cassellberry, Florida; Grandchldren: Matthew, James and Anna Cooper; Jenny Mayfield, Jeremy and John Parrish; great granddaughter: Kylie Mayfield. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, March 12 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 13 at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Warren Culver and Rev.
