He attended Sidney Lanier High School and Troy University. He was also a member of Eastmont Baptist Church and for many years he severed as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He had a great heart and was "Just Bob," to those he knew. He was liked by all.
He leaves behind his loving wife Barbara Norton Harris and son Gregory Scott Harris and his wife Michelle and Grandson Brannon Scott Harris.
He was a man of many hats. After 27 years he retired from the U.S. Postal Service and also retired from the national guard. He served in the U.S Navy and was also a realtor.
He enjoyed spectator sports and traveling. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
