Robert Francis Jakob, age 77 of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 22,2016. He is survived by his English wife, Patricia Jakob of 52 yrs. His son, Karl Jakob and daughter-in law, Carmen Jakob. Robert was born in Chicago ,Illinois. He spent 20 years in the United States Air Force, serving tours in England, Vietnam, Maine, New Mexico and Germany. Maxwell Air Force Base was his last duty station before retiring from the military as a Master Sergeant. He then went to work for Capital Chevrolet, Blount Brothers, Inc., Montgomery Human Resources and ABI before going into full retirement. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation thirty minutes prior to service. Burial will follow immediately after the chapel service in Greenwood Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Pastor Michael Vineyard Sr. will be officiating.
