Robert Louis Mills

Robert Louis Mills, 90, a resident of Pike Road, AL, passed away on June 29, 2020. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM – 10:45AM at Leak Memory Chapel. Graveside services will begin at 11:00AM at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Mills was born in Twin City, GA on May 20, 1930 to George William Mills and Nancy Glisson. He retired from the USAF as a Master Sergeant after serving 22 years. Mr. Mills then founded Mills Tile Co. where he worked until retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved fishing, watching college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with his grandkids. One of his favorite things to do with his grandkids was taking them on boat rides. He also loved dogs, especially his Pepper.

Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline McCoy Mills; siblings, Thelma Louise Mills, George Walter Mills, Cardell Mills, Madie Lee Mills, Mary Ruth Mills, Paul Mills. He is survived by his children, Robert E. Mills (Myra Senn), Kelvin Ray Mills (Debra Jones), Pamela Jean Pittman (Louis P.), Karen Ann Farrar (Thomas B.) and Rodney Allen Mills (Andrea Freeman); as well as 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Mills Avret; and half siblings, William Eugene Mills and Shirley Jane Mills.
