Ronald Craig Cook

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” C. Cook, age 51, passed away on July 26, 2014 in Montgomery, AL. Ronnie was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 11, 1962. Son of Nelson “Cookie” and Anna “Peggy” Cook, who proceeded him in death.

Ronnie was employed by Capitol Chevrolet for over 15 years. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. When Ronnie was not working, helping friends and family, you could find him by the pool, or on his Harley with his brothers. His fondest activity was being the best Pop-Pop in the world to his grand babies. He had such a big passionate heart and he never ever met a stranger.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of over 29 years, Stacy Laine Cook, his childhood sweetheart; they had 3 children Sean Cook, Craig Cook and Julie Cook. Grandchildren, Madison Rae and Matthew Cooper. Siblings; Cathy Galloway, Steve Cook (Teresa), James Cook and Scott Cook (Kim). Ronnie had too many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews to list individually, as well as a host of near and dear close friends.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL (945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109) (Call 334-272-6501 for directions) on Wednesday, July 30th from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, July 31st in Leak Memory Chapel beginning 11am. Burial will follow in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. Pallbearers are family and friends: Chris Smith, Justin Schmalenberger, Randy Robinson, Stephen Age, Taylor Smith and Warren Guy. Honorary Pallbearers: James Cook, Pete Sandifer, Scott Cook and Trey Cook. In lieu of flowers the family is setting up a love offering and PNC Bank, 5375 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL (334-240-86290) under the Ron Cook Memorial Fund.
