WATSON, Ronald Glenn, 75, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2014, following an extended illness. He was born February 21, 1939, in Wellston, Ohio, and was a graduate of Wellston High School and Texas Christian University. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1978, and then Compass Bank in 2001. Ron was a member of Dalraida United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Garnet Wilson, and his sister, Barbara Carter. Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Melba; daughter, Amy; and son, Joseph (Hannah), of Madison, AL. Ron’s family wishes to thank Dr. William Jones, Southern Care Hospice, and Answered Prayers, for the excellent care he received. According to his wishes, there will be a Graveside Service in Greenwood Cemetery, on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 1 PM, with Rev. David McVay officiating.
