I was heartbroken to learn of Mr. Bishop's passing. How I cherish memories of our trivia games  knowing, and never doubting he would be the first to answer, and correctly. He hardly ever missed an activity at JKM, inviting other Residents to join in the fun.  He enjoyed playing bingo, excited to be the first to yell "bingo". He was proud of his military service and being a member of his beloved church, grateful to have those 
 fellow members visit with him on occasions. He was a leader, but could graciously follow.  He was friendly, possesd a world of knowledge, as well as a charming sense of humor. Mr. Bishop loved his children and was delighted to  learn his daughter and son in-law  were coming to visit.  He loved  and was so appreciative of Fran 
Bonn, and her husband,  who lovingly stepped in to help anytime they were needed.  Mr. Bishop enjoyed our monthly Communion Services, proud to announce to all in attendance that our Communion Service was led by his good friend of many years, Ben Arelano.  He believed in a better place, as he gave his life to God, becoming a Christian, many years before I met him. There's no doubt the angels in heaven welcomed this Solider with open  arms, rejoicing in have him celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior by their side in heaven.
