She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel L. Collins and Hazel T. Collins, her twin sister, Cheryl C. Allen and her brother Danny Collins.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne A. Nickols; her children, Tracy (Mike) Jackson, Chris (Mandy) Franks and Julie Moore. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Emma and Hudson Franks, Brady and Mason Moore.
She was born on October 27, 1947 in Fayette, AL. She graduated from Fayette Co. High School and then went on to attend Florence State University, now known as University of North Alabama, in Florence, AL. She attended Cornerstone Christian Church in Montgomery. Sharon was a wonderful, loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. Her feisty personality was one that will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Montgomery, AL.
