Shirley Fletcher Silvers died November 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents: George Franklin and Harriet Erkenbrack Fletcher and her husband: Jack Wilmont Silvers. An only child, she had no brothers and sisters but nieces and nephews through her husband's side of the family. Those remaining relatives include: nieces and nephews- Sandra Bullard (Mitch-deceased), Jean Silvers, Dave Silvers and Bill Silvers; a great niece- Mitanda Richburg (Brian) and a great-great niece- Madison Richburg. Bobby Skelton served Mrs. Silvers as friend and caretaker in her last years.
Mrs. Silvers loved to sing and taught children in Sunday School at Gateway Baptist Church in Montgomery for many years.
Tuesday, December 6 marks the date of her visitation (1:00 pm), funeral service (2:00 pm) and graveside at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home and Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
