Sylvia Rubin

RUBIN, Sylvia Levine, 92, passed away peacefully March 31st with her children by her side. A private family service was held April 1st with Rabbi Scott Kramer officiating. Mrs. Rubin is survived by her Children, Charles Rubin and Barbara and Paul Handmacher, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Yetta and Julius Levine, her brother, Bernard, her loving and devoted husband of 70 years, Dr. Saul Rubin and her infant Great Grandson, Robert Nathan Handmacher. Mrs. Rubin was from Eastman, GA, where she shared a wonderful life with her parents, her husband, her children and her many, many friends. She was unique, a class act, and beautiful. Those who knew her loved her. The family wishes to thank the staff of John Knox @ Home and Baptist Hospice for their care, their genuine concern, and their love for Mrs. Rubin.
