Terry Baxter Fitzpatrick

Terry Baxter Fitzpatrick was born on April 14, 1947, in Montgomery, Al at Fitz-Hill Hospital. His parents were Jessie Lee Dorris and Homer Tatman Fitzpatrick. Terry was educated in the Montgomery public school system. He answered his country's call in 1965 by joining the United States Air Force. He placd tops in his jet mechanic's class and was given his choice of assignments to Hickman AFB, HI. He served there until he was honorably discharged in 1970. He remained in Honlulu where he spent 40 years working in the hotel / tourism industry until his retirement. Terry was a member of the Prattville Dragoons Camp, SCV. He returned to his beloved Alabama in 2021 to be treated for a rare thymus gland cancer. He passed away on March 13, 2022 from complications of pneumonia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 favorite aunts Margaret Dorris Flory, Tn and Evelyn Dorris Teague Al. He is survived by his sister Linda Davis (Ron) Al; his favorite uncle who is 100 years old and a WWII veteran Charles H. Flory, Tn; cousins Dorris Teague, Al Bernie Teague Fl, Joyce Flory Coleman, Tn; Charleen Flory Huffhines Tx and Sandra Fitzpatrick Kendall Fl,

Terry was well known for his love of animals. Memorials may be made to the Elmore County Humane Shelter Wetumpka, Al 36093

A private burial is planned.
