Virginia Gay Hutchinson passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 101. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1919, and has lived in Montgomery since she was 16 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to watch the old western TV shows. She learned to drive when she was 44 years old.
Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Hutchinson; her sons, George E. Hutchinson and Thomas Gary Hutchinson; and her daughter, Jennie Lynn Hutchinson. Survivors include her children, Donald Hutchinson (Betty), Kenneth D. Hutchinson (Diana), Carolyn Marsh (Gary), Terri Sullivan (Eddie); 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 2:00-2:30pm on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Leak Memory Chapel with a graveside service immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Rick Marshall officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Hutchinson, Donnie Hutchinson, Dustin Hutchinson, Dillon Hutchinson, Ray Hutchinson, and Ted Walton. Honorary pallbearers are Dalton Hutchinson and Eddie Sullivan.
