Wallace Lee Smith Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Oswald W. Smith and Chloris L. Smith, and a son; Wallace Lee Smith, Jr.

He is survived by his Wife; Frances B. Smith of Mathews, AL, Daughter; Lynn Talkington(Scott), a Sister; Alice V. Smith, daughter-in-law; Debbie Smith, Three Grandchildren; Michael Sanders (Seattle, WA), Chelsea Smith(Albany, GA), Lauren Talkington, and a Great-Grandchild; Gideon Sanders of Seattle, WA.

Mr. Smith, Sr. served as a Corporal in the US Army 966th Engineer Maintenance Company in Germany during the Korean War. He retired in 1993 from a distinguished career with G.A.B, as an insurance claims specialist. He was a member of Blue Goose Insurance Organization, and an active member of Cloverdale Baptist Church, where he served in every capacity. He was also a member of Pike Road Community Club and Central Alabama Model A Club.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday, March 29, from 10:00-11:00, with service to follow at 11:00 in the chapel, with Keith Hinson Officiating.

Pallbearers will include; John Formby, Don Harris, Rodney Martin, Richard Phelps, Hosie Swanson, Billy Sykes, Scott Talkington. Honorary Pallbearers; Randy Bishop, Ronnie LeMay, Billy Rotton, Men of Cloverdale Baptist Church, Members of Central Alabama Model A Club.
