Mr. Wilfred Joseph Davis , 91, who resided in Montgomery, Al., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents; Hubert W. Davis and Minnie Roberts and one brother. He is survived by his lovely wife of 69 years; Rose Mary Davis , three sons; Robert Davis (Amy), Edward Davis (Susan) and Stephen Davis and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis was raised in Newfoundland and enjoyed fishing, hunting and good friends as he did with his career as a Mechanical Engineer. He was also a Mason and a Shriner. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:00 am in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow immediately at Greenwood Cemetery. By request from the family, the service will conclude in the chapel. There will be no committal service at the gravesite. Rev.
