William Edward Parrish, Jr. (Bill) passed away Friday, April 10, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Parrish, son Ed Parrish (Joy), daughter Beth Parrish, two grandchildren, Victor Parrish and Juliet Parrish.
Also survived by a sister, Diane Griffin, brothers, Richard Parrish (Kay), John Parrish and Paul Parrish (Debbie).
Bill served in the U.S. Army and Alabama National Guard for 36 years. Reaching the rank of Master Sergeant (E8) and retired as supervisor of the calibration Lab at the state Military Department. He also volunteered his time with the Boy Scouts. He earned the Silver Beaver Award for his service to the Boy Scouts.
Visitation will be held at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, US, on April 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, US, on April 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
