Willie Ruth Harrington

Mrs. Willie Ruth Peel Harrington, 90, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Marvin Ennis and Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Barnhart (Charles) and Brenda McLeod; two sisters, Beatrice Reeves and Ruby Nell Lewis (Frank); 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren,15 great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Harrington, granddaughter, Cynthia Lail, and great-grandson, Michael Casey. Active pallbearers will be Curtis Flowers, Jr., Ronny Butland, Anthony Peel, Ricky Witherington, Tyser Ratliff and Michael Lance Casey. Honorary pallbearers will be W.K. (Sonny) Livingston, Jr. and Charles Barnhart. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff of Vista Care Hospice for the love and support.
