Adrian Barbulescu

He was born on November 30th, 1927, in Turnu Magurele, Romania. He lived a full life, witnessing major historical events and mind-bending technological and medical advances while experiencing personal successes and deep heartbreaks.

Adrian spent his career as a Professional Engineer; he truly loved his job! He also loved Family, and being part of their lives. He was a man of few words but he often expressed wisdom with wit. He loved his computer, cellular phone, and ANY gadgets as well as surfing the Internet, but nothing brought him more joy than watching his family grow across generations. This brought him endless happiness and sparkle in the later years.

He was predeceased by his two beloved wives: Zizi (45 years) and Renee (23 years). An amazing extended family survives him: daughter Joana Barbulescu, grandchildren David Mayhew (Allison Westin); Andreia Mayhew (Graham Manning); Deanna Aldea (Andrew Aldea); great-grandchildren Nicolas and Asher Aldea, niece Jeanine Mintzberg (Mark Mintzberg) and great-nieces Maya and Tara Mintzberg, nephew Amos Goldstein (Sandra Goldstein) and great-nieces Jennifer and Andee Goldstein

A Celebration of Life will be held at Salon Funéraire Cote-des-Neiges, 4525 chemin Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal on July 17th at 9 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
