It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia Polisena (née Pirozzi) on February 13, 2026, in Montreal. She passed away suddenly and peacefully in her sleep. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario Polisena and the mother of her late son, Joe Polisena. Antonia is also predeceased by her parents, Lorenza Verdi and Ettore Pirozzi, and seven of her siblings, Giuseppe, Vittora. Nunzio, Antimo, Salvatore, Anna, and Elisa. Survived by brothers Franco and Giovanni and several nieces and nephews in Italy.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Lora, who has been by her side until her passing, and her son John, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Came to Montreal with her husband and son, Joe in 1962. Not knowing the language she created a family and home. In 1965, the family welcomed a second son John, and in 1966 a daughter, Lora.
